SIGs
SyteLine User Group - Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
The SyteLine User Group organise SIGs for members who share a common interest and who will benefit from sharing problems, experiences and solutions.
The Aims of SIGs
- To provide a focus for people with a common interest in a subject.
- To provide and encourage networking for members.
- To provide a post meeting communicaton network to share thoughts, problems and discoveries.
- To provide value in the collaboration and not just be a talking shop.
The venues for SIGs meetings may be varied depending on the subject matter to be discussed.
Venues may include Infor's own premises or locations volunteered by participating members. Phone conferencese will be used if appropriate.
We have SIG's for APS, Finance and Personalisation. They are already working and will report their activities in the half-yearly user group conferences.
The Conference itself will avail the opportunity to explore with members other subjects that they would like to see organised into SIGs.
The break-out sessions at the September 2009 conference gave confidence that there is a need for subject specific activities.
